    DESCRIPTION

    As part of our structured implementation process, custom training facilitates the creation and execution of stage specific deliverables in an efficient, timely manner. Intended to provide ‘just-in-time’ knowledge to the project team, it targets particular deliverables and tasks. Common training sessions may cover items like:

    • Space Planning, Conceptual Design and Presentation Drawings
    • Code Compliance Drawings, Room Data Sheets and Schedules
    • Creating Custom Content (casework, millwork, doors, windows, lighting fixtures etc.)
    • Drawing Mark-up and Review, Construction Scheduling and Contract Administration
    • Revit for Interior Design
    • Revit for Building Envelope Consultants

    PREREQUISITES

    To gain the maximum benefit, you should have some Revit project experience and be currently involved in a project requiring specific deliverables. Some courses are suitable for novice users engaged in specific project tasks and can be effective as standalone sessions. In most cases, you should be familiar with the concepts of BIM and the single model approach to building delivery.

    DESCRIPTION

    This course introduces you to the differences between Building Information Modelling (BIM) and drafting and how BIM leads to better design. If followed, you will see how Revit is a better way to deliver buildings. It explains how the model can be leveraged to deliver whatever is necessary to design, build and maintain a project - drawings, visualizations, analysis, schedules - all from one data source! At the end of this course, you will understand and be able to participate in a proper BIM process.

    This project-based course is ideal for BIM designers who have existing experience with Revit and are looking to improve the quality of their projects.     Structural engineering firms are central to the BIM team. This course examines the vast potential of the Revit platform and how to collaborate effectively within a BIM team – architect, mechanical and electrical engineers, and contractors.

    In addition to learning how to use the model to generate standard drawings, this course shows the various other potential uses of the modelled information including the preparation of the model for use in industry-standard analysis programs.

    Designed for the new and intermediate Revit Structure user, at the end of the course, you will be able to participate productively in projects undertaken on the Revit Structure platform.

Through examples and hands-on practice, it will take you through the fundamentals of a full Revit MEP Project and introduce you to the software’s user interface as well as basic HVAC, electrical, piping and plumbing components.

    This course introduces you to Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis. It exposes the tools and functionality needed for structural analysis and design. Beginning from scratch or using imports or Revit as a source, the course provides you with practice in troubleshooting common issues, setting up loads, load combinations, boundary conditions, and running a variety of analyses to optimize the structural design of a building structure. By the end of this course, you will understand and be able to participate in creating and successfully running a structural analysis on a structure.
