May BIMbc – Meeting Review

This month’s BIMbc session featured a presentation by Christian Proulx of BIMOne, relating to the firm’s new BIMTrack cloud coordination technology. See the attached document or click here to read how BIMTrack can help centralize coordination communications, provide easier access to information, visualize metrics and more.

Scott Cameron from HATCH was also on-hand to lead a discussion revolving around the question of what is BIM; some of the answers may surprise you. Scott had a number of questions but the conversation revolving around that first one was enough to fill our time, and could have gone for longer. The group of 40 participants had responses that ranged from the “BIM as an intelligent model” discussion, to BIM as the process of integrating related information in an organized way, to providing extractable information, to BIM as a database and more.
