Get Your Revit 2012 Web Update 1 – Step by Step

The latest buzz is that the Revit 2012 Web Update 1 is now available. The following procedure outlines how to install the new update.

1. Open your Revit Structure/Architecture/MEP 2012 and sign in on the top right:

2. Log in using your credentials

3. Click on the Communication Center (or Centre since we are after all here in Canada 🙂 i.e. the little antenna icon

4. Scroll down, and you should see the following. Click on it and it will take you to a download page on your browser. If you don’t see the update for some reason, just give it a minute or two and then click and try again.

Also, if you are wondering exactly what is fixed in this update, well, it is sort of not known. It does appear that there were some issues with IFC exporting that have been resolved by this update. Anything else you’ve noticed?

*UPDATE: List of updates have now been released for each discipline release of Revit
