AutoCAD for Mac. The design tool you know. On the platform you love.

Autodesk recently announced at their exclusive Facecast three new products: AutoCAD 2012, AutoCAD LT and AutoCAD WS for Mac, the two latter which are now available exclusively at the App Store. Check out the 2012 computer specs here (not sure if they have been updated or still the 2011 ones). More information about the releases is available at the Autodesk AutoCAD for Mac website.

If you are wondering when Revit and other Autodesk products will be available for Mac, your guess is as good as ours. Although, at the Vancouver Autodesk Roadshow event earlier this year, Jay Ayala did mention a strong urge at Autodesk meetings to become platform independent (although no timeline was suggested).
